My sister and I both know too well the difficulties and overwhelming sense of dread that decluttering or sorting out your home can bring. Whether it's downsizing your home, having a good spring clean or having to sadly go through a loved ones belongings after their passing.
In 2018 my sister Gillian and I founded JK Decluttering, a company who's core aim was to help those in need and lessen the burden that they may find themselves in. With everybody leading busy lives, we are able to assist in organising your possessions, work with you in deciding what to be keep, what you wish to bequeath to family, friends or charities of your choosing and what can be recycled or thrown away. We can take care of it all!
We've been able to help all kinds of families over the last 7 years, and work within their timeframes. We love making such a positive impact to families during what can be a very stressful or upsetting time.
We would love to continue our work and help you where we can - we may even rediscover some of your lost treasures along the way....

We will work together with you to help you decide what to keep, give to charity, recycle and what to dispose of. It can be a golden opportunity to create the organised and beautiful home you have always wanted
Moving Home
Moving home can be very stressful, many of us rushing trying to fit the whole process around our busy lives. You don't have to take everything with you, we can help you declutter before you move, saving you space, time and money
We can also help you with :

Help pack essentials for your first night in your new home, tea, coffee, beverages, food, plates, cutlery etc and also overnight bag with change of clothes and toiletries for everyone

Bereavement
Dealing with the belongings of someone who has passed away can be an emotional and difficult experience. It is often easier with someone to help, someone who can give you support at this difficult time; we work with sensitivity and understanding to help you through a difficult time, whether it be packing up belongings or help dispose of unwanted items
Closing Home
If you are closing home due to a family member going into a Residential or Care Home, or who has sadly died,
We can help at this difficult time by:

Home Staging
Selling your home can be a stressful time.
With potential buyers first impressions are everything, It is a well known fact that people need to be able to picture themselves living in a new home, and seeing too much clutter and not enough storage can put them off. With our help we can help declutter and organise your home to its full potential. If you have things you do not want to throw away you can always ask family or friends to store your belonging until you sell your home or even hire a storage locker
Swedish Death Cleaning
Swedish Death Cleaning encourages people to simplify their lives and possessions to ease the burden on family and friends who will handle their estate after they pass away.
In other words, It's all about getting the clutter out of your home so your family and friends do not have to.

Prices we charge
We work as a team,so each visit will be 2:1

We charge a standard rate of
£70 per hour Monday to Friday
£90 per hour Saturday & Sunday

3hr Session £210 £270
4hr Session £280 £360
5hr Session £350 £450
6hr Session £420 £540

We can work up to 8 hrs for bigger tasks, and making a big impact, or where time is of the essence
​
Travel costs are included in a 20 mile radius of NR12 Norwich, thereafter mileage is charged at 45p per mile as in accordance with current HMRC rates.
